Minor Piercing/Identification Policy
Valid Identification is Required for all persons receiving a Piercing and the parent accompanying them.
Due to state and county laws requiring proper identification prior to receiving piercing services, Rose Body Piercing is required to ask you have a current or valid form of identification for you (parent/ legal guardian) and anyone under the age of 18 getting a piercing. We are unable to accept expired, suspended, and non state issued forms of Identification. Our consent forms are digital, so you can also upload high quality images in the event you don’t travel with your childs passport or birth certificate. Please note that these are required by law, and not solely the policy of Rose Body Piercing.
The youngest we pierce Earlobes on minors is 7.
Most other piercing are performed on clients at age 14. With strict exceptions for Surface Piercing, Dermal Anchors, Nipples and Genitals. These piercings are not Preformed on Minors of Any Age.
ID requirements for minors receiving services with parental consent:
Parent must be present with photo ID
Minor must also have photo ID
School ID along with a birth certificate is an acceptable form of ID from minor. State identification, passport, drivers license, or learners permit are also acceptable.
If last names or addresses differ, you MUST bring a birth certificate along with photo ID.
Guardianship papers are also required if guardian brings in a minor for a piercing.
